We want to do our part to help The Humane Society of New York, since they were so good to us when we needed someone to take care of us. They also helped our outside feral friend Squirt when she was a kitten.

Our lady human is almost done walking her legs off for one cause or another for a while. She is going to do one more walk, Walk Now for Autism, and then she is done for the season. This is good, because this time, we have a project for her to help with!

Wow, She Really IS a Computer Hog!!!

Can you believe she hasn't let us write here in MONTHS??? Us neither, but we got lots of news!

First of all, Our Lady Human made us promise to let you know that she finished her marathon thing. She stayed away from us for FOUR WHOLE DAYS!!! She went to someplace called Dizzy World, and walked over 26 miles for something called Team in Training. Did we mention that she left us alone for FOUR WHOLE DAYS??? Yup, she did! Her sister human came every TWO days to make sure we had enough food and water, and to make sure we were okay, since it was our first time home alone for FOUR WHOLE DAYS! The first time she came, Tigger must've been really hungry or something, because he didn't just come out from hiding under the big bed, he LET the sister human, an almost STRANGER, PET HIM! He came out and sat right on Our Lady Human's computer chair, and let her pet him, just like that! She was nice though, until she brought the little boy human with her the next time. He really likes kitties, but he scares us when he runs, runs, runs to play with us. Our Lady Human says he has something called AWETISM. I guess that means he's in awe of us! He wouldn't hurt us, she says, because he likes kitties and knows how to pet them nice and soft. He's just so excited to see us, he wants us to come out and play.

More BIG NEWS! Gateway has been sleeping in THE BIG BED with Our Lady Human! Under the covers, too! A couple of times, when she woke up to use the litterbox, Gateway has gone back into the bedroom with her and slept right next to her with his head resting on her arm, just like a little teddy bear. Under the covers, no less! Can you believe it??? Me neither! He won't sit on her lap like I do, but he'll sleep next to her under the covers in the big bed, where she can roll over and squash him like a bug! Not too smart if you ask me!

Oh yeah, and we survived something called "Snowmageddon". We think that was when all the white stuff was falling from the sky. There was LOTS of it!

WOW!!! We Got Lots of News!!!

First, we are very sorry we have not written here in such a very long time. Our lady human is a total computer hog, and we hardly ever get a chance to write lately!

But that's okay. She's been very, very busy training for something called a marathon with some group of humans called Team in Training. She's going to walk a whole lot to raise money for people with leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma and other blood cancers. So, we'll let her hog up the computer for a little while longer so she can get finished with the raising money part of it. Okay, now for our BIG NEWS!!! We don't get locked up in kitty jail anymore when our lady human goes outside to the work place!!! She even let us not be locked up over a whole night once!!! We still get locked up in kitty jail for a time out when we're acting like psycho kitties, or when she takes out the big red monster thing and does other cleaning stuff so we don't get in the way or try to help. But that's only for a little while most times, which is okay. She was really scared to leave us all by ourselves the first few times. She was really worried that we'd do something and hurt ourselves. Silly human! All we do is SLEEP!

Our other BIG NEWS is... Gateway's been sleeping on the BIG BED with our lady human for the past few nights!!! She is really, really happy about this, because he never, ever did it before all this time since she adopted us almost a year ago! He always slept in his kitty bed on the floor next to the BIG BED. One night he even slept the whole entire night in the BIG BED! (Note from Tigger: I just hope he doesn't start sleeping on her lap next - that's MY sleeping place!)

We're Still Here!

Wow! It's been a really, really, REALLY long time since we wrote anything here! Our lady human's been hogging up the computer a LOT!

But, she's also been taking lots and lots of pictures of us, which should be showing up here, too. So, at least you get to see those and our tweets on the Twitter place even if we don't get here to write much lately.

Lots has been happening! This week, Tigger will be a whole year old! Can you believe it? Our lady human killed the big monster thing by trying to make it eat the stringy stuff on the edge of the rug. We thought we were safe at last, but then she got a BIG RED monster thing that eats up even MORE stuff!

The best part, though is that she got new bed covers and something called a new futon mattress. The new covers make this really cool WHOOSH! noise like a cat toy when you play on them, and the new mattress thing makes the big bed extra soft and bouncy - the better for us to play on!

We've also been trying all sorts of new and yummy treats, thanks to our friends at the R and T Pet Supply store that our lady goes to. We'll write more about them another time, but we are getting very, very spoiled here!

Our Lady Made More Videos of Us!!!

Our lady got a new human toy called a catberry, and she made more videos of us and put them on that YouTube place!

And, in other news, Tigger's not scared of the scary monster! Nope, he was really brave and stayed out in the big room while it went VROOM! VROOM! VROOM! all over the place and didn't run away until it got *this close*! It didn't suck him up, but it ate all our treat crumbs that we were saving for later!

WOW! Exciting News! We're Being Entered in a Contest!

Our lady human is entering pictures of us in the WeTV Picture Perfect Pet Contest! She can only upload one picture a day, and they have to be approved by the contest humans before we can be voted on, but we could win $5,000!!! That's a lot of food and toys for us!!!

We are going to make very, very sure that she posts the voting links where you can rate our pictures all the way from "Cute" to "Too Cute". (Of course, everybody knows we are just "Too Cute"!) She says that the links will be in that Twitter section on the right side of this place.

Oh, we are so excited!!! We are going to be very famous celebkitties!!! YAY!!!

There's a Monster in the House!!!

Yup, you read that right! There's a big, scary monster in the house! We saw it with our own four eyes!

It's almost as big as our lady human, and it makes this really loud "VROOM! VROOM!" noise! It has a really big mouth that eats up everything that gets in its way! It ate up all the leftover bits of our treats that we were saving for a rainy day, all of the yummy little crumbs from our lady's food, and it can even eat our toys!!! Oh, and it's got this really long suck-up thing on its back that can suck up a little green mousie in no time flat!

Usually, our lady human puts us in Kitty Jail when the monster comes out to feed. I guess that's so we don't get eaten like the mousie toy. It lives in the room next to the food room and it spends more time sleeping than we do. It's not too scary when it's sleeping, but when it starts making that "VROOM! VROOM!" noise, watch out! We got close enough to it the other day while it was sleeping to read its name, at least that's what we think those word things were. It says "EUREKA: The BOSS". We think that means it's the boss monster, which makes us wonder if there are other monsters hiding here. It's not our lady human's boss, because she isn't scared of it, and we even saw her open up its belly! Maybe it's not the boss of anything, but it still is scary!

Tigger Finally Gets It (and Gets Wet)!

So, our lady human has been trying to get us to do tricks for treats, using this thing called a clicker. She'd hold up her paw and say "I five". At first, we thought she was saying that's how many toes she has, and we would sit there and look at her, like "DUHHH!!! We know that already!" Then Gateway started touching her paw with his paw whenever she said "I five". Our lady would make a noise with the clicking thing and give him a treat. It took Tigger a bit longer to "get it", mainly because he has a hard time paying attention. Our lady human says it's because he has the attention span of a flea. Fleas ain't too big, so we're guessing that means Tigger has a small attention span.

So anyways, the other night, our lady was playing with the treats and the clicker thing, and an amazing thing happened! Tigger touched her paw with his when she said the "I five" thing, and he got a click and a treat! Then he did it again and again! She put up her paw, said "I five" and he touched her paw and got a treat for it!

Now here's the funny part! The other morning, our lady was in the bathtub place with the curtain, and Tigger decided to jump in and keep her company. Wrong move!!! It was raining in there, and Tigger got soaking wet! Once he realized it was wet in there, he tried to fly out, but he wasn't fast enough! His tail got wet. His head got wet. His paws got wet! When our lady got out of there she looked at him and laughed because she said he looked like a little boy who just had a bath. Then she tried to dry him off with one of those towel things, but he just thought it was a toy and tried to wrestle with it.

So it's been a pretty big eventful few days for Tigger!

The lady put pages up for us on the Catster place. It's a pretty cool site for us cats and our humans. Here's what the Catster people say about it:

We Got Locked Up for a Whole Day!

We been repressed!!!

Yup, that's right! Our lady locked us in the bedroom place for a whole day while she went to someplace called the "awfulest" to do work stuff. She said she had to go there and do the work stuff so that we have money to buy food and toys, so we guess that's okay. The bedroom place isn't so bad. There's a big warm bed for sleeping on, windows to look out, toys to play with and she left us food and water. It's pretty nice, as far as prisons go, and it sounds like it's more fun than the "awfulest" place.*

Sometimes, though the work stuff interferes with our creative writing projects and photo shoots. But, if you look on the side where all that Twitter writing stuff is, you'll get the very latest newsflashes even on days when we don't get a chance to write a lot like we are today. Our lady likes to take lots of pictures of us with the phone thing, and you can see them there by the Twitter stuff, too! How cool is that?

* Note from the human - it's the office, and it's not awful, at least not my office. I'm sure, though, that there are some offices out there that are pretty awfulest.

News and Reviews!

First, the really BIG news! We got to stay home all alone without being locked up the other night! The lady was really worried that we would get into trouble or get hurt while she was out for her Weight Watchers meeting, but we behaved really good. She was so happy to see that we were okay and didn't wreck the place that she gave us extra treats for being good!

The next news item is that Gateway finally came up to sleep in the BIG sleeping place last night! He's not sure if he really likes it yet. He also hasn't figured out that, while there may be more room down at the bottom, there's also a better chance of getting kicked in the head down there when our lady rolls over!

And next up, our favorite subject - FOOD! This one's really cool! We taste tested another food last night - Avoderm Beef Formula. It was another really YUMMY food that's good for us, too! It has lots of healthy stuff in it, and something called avocado to help keep our fur nice. We give it two paws-up!

The BEST part though, is that the humans who make the Avoderm food are giving away FREE FOOD!!! Yup, that's right! If you buy a bag of any of the dry foods made by the Breeder's Choice company, they will send you a piece of paper for a free bag of FOOD! They even do it for dogs, too! The Breeder's Choice company is also giving pet owners a chance to win a whole YEAR of FREE FOOD!!! They have a contest thing in June and December every year, and lady put our names in there for this month's contest! How cool is that???

We Got to be Taste Testers!!!

Our lady went to do some shopping the other day and went to what we think is going to become one of our very, very favoritest places in the world, R and T Pet Supply. She bought us a new scratching thing, but that's not the best part! The very, very nice lady named Terri there gave her some TREATS for us to taste test for her!

And they are very, very YUMMY treats! They're called Petrodex Dental Treats and they're supposed to help keep our teeth clean. They're a little big for us right now, so our lady cut them in half first. We're not supposed to eat more than one or two of these a day, though, which is a bummer because they're so yummy! We give them two paws-up!

The lady also bought us a new flavor of Wellness food to try, Beef and Chicken. We both liked it lots the first time, but Tigger didn't like it so much as leftovers this morning. The Wellness people have lots of stuff on their website about good nutrition, too.

We Got New TOYS!!!

We're both too pooped to party!

Our lady left us all alone for a while today! She said she had to go to some place called Big Lots with her sister. The sister is another lady human, and we know this because we met her today! Her name is Jean, which is kind of funny - a human bean named Jean! It's Jean Bean! She was very, very nice to both of us, and said we were adorable. We know we're adorable, but it was nice to hear yet another human bean tell us that.

The only bad part was that, before our lady went to the Big Lots place, she TRICKED US with treats, and then locked us in the room with the big sleeping place and the windows. We had to stay in there FOREVER, then she came back to make sure we were both okay and not getting into any trouble. And then you know what??? She tricked us and locked us up AGAIN!

We got kinda bored after a while and went to sleep until she came back. This time, she brought a little lady human bean with her. She said her name was Erica, and that Erica was her knees. She didn't look like no knees - she looked like a little human bean! Anyway, Erica petted us both and loved us. Tigger even let her hold him for a little while, and gave her some big loud purrs. We like her and hope she comes back to play with us soon.

Speaking of playing, when our lady came back from the Big Lots place, she opened up a bag and inside were TOYS for us!!! LOTS of TOYS!!! Maybe that's why they call it Big Lots, because it's got a big lotsa TOYS!!! We got toy mouses, noise making toys, krinkly toys and a buncha other toys! Of course, we had to try out each and every one of those toys, and we did! We played, played, played and played with our new TOYS!!!

After playing all that time, we are WAY tired! But it was fun, even if she DID trick us first!

This is Gateway.

In case you're wondering what we're eating, and whether we like it or not, we decided that from time to time, we're going to review the foods the lady human feeds us.

The first food we are going to tell you about is Natural Balance Green Pea and Duck dry food. Green pea sounds kind of icky and yucky, but this stuff is super yummy!!! Both of us give it two paws-up! Tigger scarfed down almost half a bowl all by himself!

Wait a minute! It was a little bowl, and you didn't do so bad eating it, either! Besides, it was good! Don't forget to tell them about how I helped the lady make our dinner last night. (Translation from the lady human: Tigger volunteered to "taste test" from the can while I was trying to put the food into the bowl.) She gave us some Wellness Chicken cat food, and I helped make the dinner and clean off the plates! No wasted food here!

Sorry, starving kitties in China or whatever country the grown-ups tell us little kitties the starving kitties in the world are from these days to make us eat all our food. We ate it all!

We are Tigger and Gateway, the stars of this place!

Although sometimes it seems like "The Tigger Show", it's really "The Tigger & Gateway Show". Honest! Tigger's just the more attention-seeking half of the team.

We are two kitties who met at The Humane Society of NY and became buddies. Then, yesterday, this lady took us both home with her to some place called Queens. We're not real sure what this Queens place is. Maybe she's royalty! There's lots of room to run and play here, that's for sure!

Anyway, this is Tigger butting in with a news-flash. She's got this box with a bunch of buttons on it called a cat-puter or something like that. I really like the cat-puter! I jump on the buttons and words come out on something called a scream. Or maybe that's what she does when I jump on it when I'm not supposed to... oh, well! Anyway, she told us we could make this blog thing to write to other kitties and to humans, too!

We very especially want to thank all of our friends at The Humane Society of NY, who took care of us real good until we found a home of our own. They are some really awesome human beans there who love, love, love us!

Oh, and if you're wondering why there's no TV on this page, it's because the fishy sushi looked more delicious!
